Tempe Town Lake
Take a journey to Tempe Town Lake, one of Arizona's most popular outdoor destinations. More than 2 million people visit Town Lake each year to boat, fish, attend concerts, fireworks and a variety of festivals.
RAMP/ACCESS:
For boat ramp access to Town Lake Marina from Mill Avenue - go east on Curry to College turning right (south) on College then staying to the right until you go under the 202 Freeway. Accessible Fishing Opportunities available for physically challenged anglers to parking, restrooms and Lake Shoreline are at the Town Lake Marina and on south shore, at Tempe Beach Park.
SPORTFISH SPECIES:
Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Sunfish, Tilapia, Carp and Channel Catfish. Rainbow Trout in the winter months.
MANAGEMENT STRATEGY:
Stocked with rainbow trout catchables seasonally in November, December and January. Largemouth Bass bag and size limits in place to protect and balance this expanding fishery. The city of Tempe closely monitors and maintains water quality.

Lake is nearly 2 miles long with inflatable dams on both ends maintaining the lake in the Salt River channel.

Tempe Town Lake is located just north of downtown Tempe area and Arizona State University. The main entrance to the park is located at the northwest corner of Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway.
