Phoenix Zoo
Guests can take a walk through Monkey Village, have an up close encounter with a giraffe, ride a camel, hop aboard the Safari Train, learn about farm life at the petting zoo and enjoy several water play features during the spring and summer such as Leapin’ Lagoon and Yakulla Caverns. Guests will enjoy daily up close animal experiences, keeper talks, bike and boat rentals and a variety of retail and food venues. The Phoenix Zoo offers unique event venues indoors and out as well as customized events for groups of only 25 to groups larger than 5,000. Conservation programs at the Zoo center around the propagation of several endangered species, earning the Zoo international recognition. Ranked one of the top five tourist attractions in Arizona, and voted one of the nation’s top five zoos, the Phoenix Zoo offers an experience like no other! Open daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Summer hours (June-Sept.) are 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. (weekdays) and 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. (weekends)
